
Gazza keeps Taxman at bay to avoid bankruptcy
Former England football star Paul ‘Gazza’ Gascoigne has avoided a bankruptcy hearing over a tax debt after paying his estimated £200,000 bill. Gazza had nine weeks from his last court appearance to pay off his debt, and his solicitor said he had funds to meet the liabilities, it just took time to pay them off, reported the Sun.
His name was taken off the High Court hearing list yesterday, it reports.
