The UK branch of Polaroid has entered into administration.

Partners from Zolfo Cooper were appointed at the Hertfordshire-based company that acted as a small-scale distributor of digital imaging and electronics products under license from Polaroid Corporation.

Customers are being serviced by Polaroid Europe, a separate trading entity not in administration.

Polaroid UK has ceased all trading activities, and administrators are working to realize the company’s assets and effect a distribution to creditors.

The administrators are Alastair Beveridge, Neil Cooper and Stuart Mackellar.

Polaroid was incorporated in the UK in 1962.
