PwC brings in fresh blood
PricewaterhouseCoopers may now be an attractive prospect for job-seeking investment bankers.
Of 1,000 new recruits the firm is hoping to hire in 2009, 43 per cent of the intake will join the firm’s financial services practice. Ex-bankers will have the pick of the banking and capital markets, insurance and investment management practices.
125 graduates have already started with PwC, many of whom did not study accounting or finance at university. Nearly half studied arts, social sciences or engineering.
