Deloitte has reported a fall in performance for the last year with gross revenue down 2%, following `extremely tough’ conditions.

The firm’s audit and consulting divisions saw growth of 7% and 3% respectively but revenues were down 7% in tax and 9% in corporate finance.

Average profit-per-partner fell 7.5% to £883,000.
