
France and Germany beat us to it
Old rivalries die hard but the Euro heavyweights have beaten us to it on the path back to growth. Both France and Germany posted 0.3% growth in Q2 of 2009. In contrast the UK posted a 0.8% fall in GDP for the same period.
Just remember tortoise, hare.
