Price comparison sites have been around for some time now. They normally cater for simplified comparisons such as flights or credit cards where commodity products are compared. However, that’s not stopped the launch of a new comparison site for accountants:

The site will attempt to compare fees across different firms. This may work quite well for commoditised types of service but comparing the more bespoke services in this way – we’re not so sure. Judging like for like may be tricky.

Apparently the founders also want to do a similar site for legal fees; the same comments probably apply.
