Yep it’s been a while, nearly 3 years in fact. The liquidator finally started sending cheques in the post after a legal dispute over supposedly ringfenced money was settled. An early Christmas for some then… The Times reports that only 5,900 people had their money put into the ringfenced trust but there were over 122,000 claims made by customers.

Compared to other insovency events that have been in the press recently, 3 years might one day be seen as expedient.
