Microsoft is dropping Microsoft Office and its associated Microsoft Professional Accountants Network leaving many disappointed. At a time when many small firms are struggling, concerns over their choice of accounting software are the last thing they needed.

“Existing customers will receive five years of mainstream support and five years of extended support,” a spokesperson said.
