Businesses Cut Christmas Spending Cheer
The Centre for Economics and Business Research (CEBR) estimates that employers will spend about £600m on Christmas parties for their staff this year…
Sounds like a lot but its a considerably less than the £1bn that got spent back in the heady days of 2007 and 30% less than last year.
Many firms have pulled the plug on Christmas parties altogether saving the usual money and embarrasing fallout that normally occurs on such occasions. What a shame.
