Oxford Brookes Students Do Charity Accounting
Taking time out from the usual student pursuits of studying, clubbing and boozing…
Oxford Brookes students are taking part in a scheme to provide local charities with free access to accountancy services.
According to Accountancy Age the accounting students will begin placements at seven different charirites across Oxfordshire, giving up to half a day a week for a year to a local charity. They will work on the charirties’ budgeting, record keeping and bank reconciliations, among other help.
Good work.
