PricewaterhouseCoopers’ building near Tower Bridge has become the first building in the capital and the first major office building in the UK to be rated BREEAM ‘Outstanding’. That’s international BRE Environmental Assessment Method to you and us.
Property Week: The ‘Outstanding’ award is the top rating under the BRREAM standard for sustainable design and environmental performance. To achieve the award, the site at 7 More London had to meet or exceed 85% across all of the targets.
The 500,000 sq ft office on the south bank of the river Thames has a number of environmental criteria, such as recycling waste heat to warm and cool the building.
