How about £130k’s worth of Italian supercar? Someone’s accountant must be horrified.
Daily Mail: A property investor lost his £130,000 Lamborghini sports car because he was too drunk to remember where he parked it.
The car disappeared and and insurance claim was made. Mr Knowles (the driver) and Mr Mant (his friend and the car’s co-owner) were cleared of insurance fraud after the jury decided that Mr Mant was indeed too pissed to know what happened to his motor. Evidence that he’d previously lost a Mercedes may have helped swing it.
