Recruitment firm Robert Walters said it has witnessed a lavatorial-sounding “intense recruitment push” which it believes was caused by new headcount allowances at large businesses.

Andrew Hanson, director of financial services recruitment division, told Accountancy Age both senior and junior-level permanent recruitment markets looked promising for 2010.
