Business in the Community’s 2010 Corporate Responsibility (CR) Index has been published. KPMG and PwC acheived a Platinum Plus rating for their efforts. KPMG is delighted:

KPMG: KPMG is delighted to have achieved the highest possible rating – the Platinum Plus band – in Business in the Community’s 2010 Corporate Responsibility Index, the UK’s leading voluntary benchmark of corporate responsibility.  KPMG is one of only ten organisations in the UK to achieve this rating.

John Griffith-Jones, UK chairman of KPMG, said: “We are absolutely delighted and very proud to have achieved the Platinum Plus rating.  We take our corporate responsibilities extremely seriously and to reach this milestone is a key moment for us.  We strive to put our values at the heart of all we do, for the benefit of our clients, our people and our communities.  There is much more that we hope to achieve in the coming years in terms of community involvement, environmental footprint and employee engagement- this gives us great encouragement for the future.  This is an achievement built on the efforts of everybody in the firm.”
