Prepare For Animated Audit Training
Putting ‘animated’ and ‘audit’ in the same sentence might seem like an oxymoron but…
…not if we’re talking Wallace and Gromit style.
Leading U.S. training provider, Q.A.I. (www.trainingforquality.com), has teamed up with U.K. animators, Callous Productions (www.callousproductions.com), to produce an animated series that trains auditors, using the latest technology.
The training series portrays fictional case studies, followed by classroom discussions, to show trainee auditors how to make decisions in real world scenarios.
Previously, animation in a 3d environment was prohibitively expensive. And even if a company had the budget, it required a long production schedule. But recent developments have slashed costs and reduced the time it takes to make a training series.
C.E.O. of Q.A.I., Craig Deane, gives his reasons for using animation: “Animation is a very popular entertainment format. And when people are being entertained their capacity for learning increases.”
So prepare to be entertained and educated when audit training next comes around.
