PwC Leads Recruitment Surge
800 new staff are to be recruited by PwC on the back of a post-recession revenue rise…
We noted last week that graduate positions are up at PwC and its Big4 rivals. But PDubs has gone one better however with expectations that the company will also employ 800 new staff over the next year.
PwC’s performance has been solid with net underlying net revenue up four per cent to £2.069bn; turnover also grew by four per cent to £2.3bn – up from £2.2bn in the previous year. But average profit per partner was a down two per cent from £777,000at to £759,000.
The total staff bonus pot rose 14 per cent to £81m and chairman and senior partner Ian Powell will be paid £3.6m for the year, up from £3.3m in 2009.
